Trans+ Student Union’s Gender Affirming Clothing Swap – Photo Gallery
The Trans+ Student Union hosted its Gender Affirming Clothing Swap in an effort to create a safe space for students who may be uncomfortable shopping in traditional retail spaces. While not required to participate, attendees were encouraged to bring clothes that no longer served them.
Comfort and encouragement filled the room as students were uplifting each other’s fashion choices. Executive Board Member Estelle Long said the event is a combination of her love for environmental sustainability as well as expanding queer visibility.
