UConn defeated South Carolina 82-59 in the NCAA championship on Sunday at Amalie Arena in Tampa.
It marked the 12th championship for the Huskies and coach Geno Auriemma, who’s been with the program since 1985.
UConn guard Azzi Fudd was named Most Outstanding Player after scoring 24 points in the win.
