Global groups
For those interested in contributing to world movements, here are a few of the socially concious groups on campus students can join to start the global conversation.
Students for Social Justice:
The club aims to increase student involvement in various global and domestic social
justice issues and create lasting solutions to poverty, hunger
and injustice.
Alliance of Concerned Students:
The purpose of the club’s progressive student union at USF is to promote human rights worldwide and protect civil rights, diversity and equality. The alliance also works to educate the USF community about alternatives to war and to uncover and publicize truths not reported by the mainstream media.
Student Environmental Association (SEA):
While engaging in local, state, national and international environmental campaigns, the SEA also informs members of volunteer work and career opportunities in the environmental sciences.
Students for the Marketing and Advancement of Renewable Technology (SMART):
The purpose of SMART is to promote the development and use of renewable energy technologies by USF students, faculty, staff and community.
