Bulls’ game with FAU cancelled…again

Tuesday’s match between the USF men’s soccer team and FAU has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The Bulls (6-3-0, 5-0-0 Big East) were supposed to take their five-game winning streak to Boca Raton on Tuesday, but heavy rains forced a cancellation of the 7 p.m. game.

Historically the Owls (3-6-0, 0-0-0 A-Sun) have been a tough opponent, taking the Bulls into double overtime in their last two meetings in 2001 and 2003.

This is the second consecutive year that weather has cancelled a Bulls-Owls soccer match. The Bulls Sept. 29, 2004 matchup with FAU last year was called off due to bad weather.

No makeup date has been set.
