USF is a great school, even at 8 a.m.
“You know what? I like this school,” I find myself saying this out loud while making the hike from Delta Hall to Cooper Hall. It may boggle one’s mind that I can say this so happily while heading to my 8 a.m. class.
Maybe it was lovely flowers or omnipresent Bull spirit that provoked me to say this. Call it what you want, but I’m serious; USF is a great school. It is such a beautiful campus and always so alive with many activities going on everyday. Sure the parking is absolutely horrible and you may be on hold forever calling certain departments, but what people fail to realize is that all universities have problems much like this if not worse.
When the ceiling in my dorm room leaks and the shuttle takes longer than 30 minutes to come, I can’t say I’m too happy. But the times I spend volunteering for Campus Activity Board events, socializing in the Tampa room and having 1 a.m. Ben & Jerry’s outings all outweigh the university’s downfalls.
I’m not going to lie, it’s been a stressful first year for me, but it’s also been an enjoyable one. So thank you so much to any and everyone who contributes to making USF what it is!

Bulls battle with ECU in OT win
Coach Brian Gregory said Tuesday the Bulls didn’t play complete, 40-minute games in their two losses last week. There were stretches where we played […]
