The past two weeks, there has been plenty going on with USF athletics. Here is a timeline of all that has happened:
April 28-30: The baseball team drops two of three to Georgetown.
April 28-30: The softball team splits two games with Notre Dame.
April 28-29: During two days at the NFL Draft, no USF players are drafted.
April 29: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sign Andre Hall as a free agent, and offensive lineman Frank Davis signs with the Detroit Lions. Defensive linemen Terrence Royal and Tim Jones are invited to participate in the Bucs rookie mini-camp, while defensive end Jon Simmons is invited to the New York Giants mini-camp. Long snapper Justin Daniel is invited to the Lions rookie mini-camp.
May 5-6: The baseball team is swept by Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
May 6-7: The softball team sweeps Villanova but splits two games with Rutgers.
May 9: Former USF center Solomon Jones is invited to the NBA pre-draft camp at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex on June 6-10.
May 9: Track and field coach Greg Thiel announces his resignation to become the athletic director at Cambridge High School.
May 10: The Athletic Department announces the football game at Cincinnati on Oct. 22 will be played on Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. and broadcast on ESPN.
May 13: Women’s golf sophomore Cristina Jones finishes the NCAA East regional with a score of 5-over par, putting her in a tie for 25th, but fails to advance to the next round.

First SG scholarship rewards student leaders
