USF men’s basketball officially has a full house, finalizing its revamped roster with all 15 scholarship spots now filled.

New head coach Bryan Hodgson has wasted no time building a new roster.

After Hodgson was hired in March, he began his tenure by securing three high school recruits and five players out of the transfer portal, and has gradually rounded out his team in the months that followed.

The Bulls now have the 58th-best recruiting class in the country and the best class in the AAC, according to 247Sports.

12 days after the commitment of junior Wes Enis on April 17, USF landed senior guard Devin Haid from the transfer portal.

Haid was named a Riley Wallace Award Finalist for the most impactful Division I transfer this past season at Central Connecticut.

The senior averaged 14.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in his lone season there, posting seven games with 20 or more points.

He led the Blue Devils to first place in the Northeast Conference this past season with a 25-7 overall record, earning Second Team All-NEC honors.

Another commit quickly followed Haid on May 1, this time a senior forward, Isaiah Jones of Oakland University.

He ranked second on the team with 38 steals, averaging 1.3 per game, while also posting 6.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Jones’ ability on the defensive end can be valuable for the Bulls, who thrived in forcing steals, ranking in the top 40 in the country in steals per game last season.

He is local to the area, having played high school basketball at Speights Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Hodgson secured his first high school recruit of the offseason without Arkansas State ties in three-star point guard Gavin Hightower from Sierra Canyon on May 18.

Committed initially to Iona in New York, he was also fielding offers from universities such as California, Utah and Washington State.

The 6-foot-1 guard helped lead his team to a state championship this past season, finishing with a team high 15 points and adding nine rebounds in the win.

Joining Hightower from the 2025 high school class shortly after, on May 23 — three-star 6-foot-6 forward Caleb Sanders.

The Tampa local played at North Tampa Christian Academy and averaged 12.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.6 steals and 1.1 blocks per game.

His defensive presence on both the perimeter and in the paint can be crucial for a USF team that allowed its most points per game last season since 2016–2017.

Sanders was originally committed to Louisiana before reopening his recruitment and reclassifying from the 2026 class to the 2025 class.

USF beat out schools such as Florida State, Mississippi and Mississippi State, all of whom entered the race after he reopened his recruitment.

On June 12, Robert Morris senior guard Josh Omojafo committed to the Bulls after an impressive first season in Division I, previously spending two seasons at Division II Gannon University in Pennsylvania, solidifying the roster.

He averaged 11.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game while shooting 38% from three-point range.

Omojafo was ranked as a three-star prospect in the transfer portal by 247Sports.

He scored 12 points in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament against Alabama.

Coming off a 13-19 season under interim head coach Ben Fletcher, Guard CJ Brown and Forward De’Ante Green are the two remaining players from the 2024-2025 roster.
