Football releases kickoff times for several key games
Following February’s schedule release, South Florida football has announced kickoff times for several games, including a nationally broadcasted matchup against SEC powerhouse Alabama.
To open the season, the Bulls will face off against Western Kentucky on Sept. 2 at 3:30 p.m. (ET) on CBS Sports Network. The following week, USF will play Florida A&M on Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. in their home opener. The game will be shown on ESPN+.
The Sept. 16 game versus Alabama will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. with a national telecast on ABC. It will mark the 11th time USF will be featured on an ABC broadcast.
Alabama and USF will play each other for the first time since 2003 when the Crimson Tide defeated the Bulls 40-17.
For their first inter-conference road trip, USF will travel to play Navy on Sept. 30. The contest has a start time of 3:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. The Oct. 21 game at UConn will also kick off at 3:30 p.m. and be shown on CBS Sports Network.
USF will travel to San Antonio to face UTSA on Nov. 17 for the first time in program history to face the Roadrunners, one of the six programs added to the AAC. Kickoff is slated for 9 p.m. (ET) on ESPN2.
UTSA will mark the second opponent this upcoming season that was ranked in the AP poll at some point last year. Alabama was ranked No. 1 last season, while UTSA was ranked as high as No. 22.
Future game times, including inter-conference matchups against Memphis, FAU and Charlotte, will be announced throughout the season. The remainder of the schedule will be decided by television networks, influenced by a variety of factors such as team performance.
