Natural gas leak contained near Yuengling Center, REC
Those on campus have been instructed to stay inside due to a natural gas leak near the area of the Recreation Center and the Yuengling Center, according to a USF Emergency Advisory notice released at 8:28 p.m.
The notice stated that emergency personnel are responding to the scene and instructed people to remain indoors and avoid the area until further communication on the matter is provided.
A follow-up alert sent at 8:45 p.m. stated that the leak was contained, but those on campus should stay at least 500 feet away from the area.
