American Athletic Conference unveils new logos
After the dismemberment of the “old Big East” in April, it was announced that the new conference to which USF will belong will be called the American Athletic Conference (AAC).
Not to be confused with the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), the AAC has finally unveiled two logos. As of May 30, the images serve as the face of the conference. Aside from the new logos and the conference name, not many details have been released about the AAC.
After the name of the conference itself was revealed, some fans were unsure what to think. Some liked the name and thought it was “cool,” some found it reminiscent of a famous Marvel super hero and others just didn’t care what the conference was called.
Now that the name has sunk in, only time will tell how these images go over with the public.
