The Grammy Award-winning band Stone Temple Pilots will be performing at Channelside to kick off the Lightning Launch Weekend with a ’90s grunge bang.

Rocky Horror Picture Show
Do the “time warp” with a local rendition of the “Rocky Horror Picture Show,” performed by members of the acting troupe The Cheap Little Punks. The show will run at the Tampa Pitcher Show on Friday and Saturday and provides food and drinks for purchase while viewing the cult classic.

Lightning Home Opener
In part-two of the Lightning Weekend Bash doubleheader, catch the Tampa Bay Lightning as they take on their division rivals the Atlanta Thrashers for the season opener.

“The War of the Worlds Musical”
This isn’t Tom Cruise’s alien film. Head over to the Friday Morning Musicale & Federated Clubs Building to see “The War of the Worlds,” a musical inspired by the classic Orson Wells radio show. The production questions the manipulative role of media in society and explores the effects of mass hysteria.
