Haiti fundraising event to benefit Doctors Without Borders
USF students are invited to the “Love for Haiti Benefit Show” at Tank’s Tap Room located on North Dale Mabry Hwy on Saturday.
The benefit will feature music by Laura Reed, The Martinez Brothers, and Tears in the Sahara, among others. A raffle and silent auction are also scheduled for the event.
“Although food and supplies are still important contributions, the Haitians are in serious need of medical attention,” said Nastassia Czarnec, a senior journalism major and organizer for the event.
A $5.00 cover will get you into the event, which lasts until 3 a.m. on Sunday. All proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders Haiti Emergency Relief Fund.
