Managing Editor: Kelli Polson


Kelli Polson is the managing editor at the Oracle. She joined the staff in January as a sports correspondent. In the same term, she became a staff writer and assistant sports editor, while also contributing in the news section. Kelli was the news editor in the Fall of 2009.

Kelli is also a freelance writer for Florida Trend’s NEXT in St. Petersburg, a magazine that offers insight on colleges and the workforce to Florida high school students.

Kelli also worked for the Northwest Florida Daily News in Fort Walton Beach as a feature writer, and the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg. At Poynter she maintained a portion of the Institute’s Web site, directed toward high school students that offered story ideas and advice on reporting and writing.

Kelli also worked for Pinstripes Plus the summer of 2009, covering the New York Yankees’ minor league affiliates.

Kelli Polson is a junior majoring in broadcast news with a minor in sociology.
