USF continues review of Rao
Despite Dr. Abdul Rao’s resignation, USF will finish its own review to prepare for any legal action Rao may pursue.
However, it is unclear what decisions will be made.
“There isn’t much anyone will say about it,” said USF spokesman Michael Hoad.
Since Rao has not filed any lawsuits, the committee’s review may not have any effect on the situation.
“It depends now on what will happen in the legal system,” Hoad said.
It is unknown when the committee will complete the review.
The state attorney’s office has not yet reached a decision concerning the case.
Rao could not be contacted for comment.
