The men’s tennis team will conclude its regular season schedule this weekend in Louisville, Ky. The Bulls will open up weekend play on Friday, when they play Big East rival Louisville. Coach Don Barr is already thinking about the serious implications Friday’s match could have on the Big East Tournament.
“If we win that match, we go undefeated in our conference,” Barr said. “That will earn us a No. 2 seed in the (Big East) conference tournament.”
The Bulls will look to end the regular season on a winning note Saturday. USF will face off against No. 31 Virginia Commonwealth University. The match will be a tough one for the Bulls, as the VCU Rams are an impressive 13-7 on the season.The Bulls go into their final two matches of the regular season with an impressive 7-11 record. USF will host the Big East conference tournament, which begins April 19.
