In USF’s first four games, it has outscored its opponents 315-252.

The Bulls’ last outing was a double-overtime 77-72 victory against Stetson on Nov. 27. USF and the Hatters traded six leads and the Bulls never led in the first overtime period.

Senior forward Melvin Buckley’s 29 points against Stetson tied his career record, which he set in USF’s 77-61 win against Buffalo in the Bulls’ first game of the season Nov. 13.

Buckley has led the Bulls in scoring in three of their four games. Senior forward McHugh Mattis co-led with 18 points in the 82-69 win against South Carolina State on Nov. 17.

Richmond is coming off an 81-73 loss to Marist on Saturday. The Spiders started their season with three straight wins but have lost their last three games. Their three losses came by a combined 42 points.

Richmond is led in scoring by two freshmen – Dan Geriot (16.2 ppg) and Ryan Butler (10.5 ppg).

USF is winless against the Spiders in three tries. They last faced each other Dec. 1, 2004 in Richmond, with the Spiders winning 78-72.

Keep an eye on: guard Solomon Bozeman. The freshman from Arkansas scored 17 points against the Hatters, but it wasn’t his point total that stood out. Bozeman made 15 of 16 shots from the free-throw line, including two consecutive free throws to tie the game with 16 seconds to go to send it to overtime.
