Student Affairs should release election decision to public on Wednesday

A decision from Student Affairs regarding the recent student body presidential election will be made public Wednesday, according to Dean of Students Tom Miller.

The future of the student body presidency has been unclear since the Student Government Supreme Court ruled the election results null and void. The Court said the Election Rules Commission broke several of its own rules while governing the election and a new election should be held.

However, the ERC has certified the results of the election, which have Frank Harrison and Faran Abbasi as the next student body president and vice president, respectively.

Miller has said since the beginning of the confusion that SA would have a hand in deciding which opinion would stand.
