USF (3-20, 1-12 Big East) at Seton Hall (12-16, 2-10 Big East); USF at Long Island (19-12, 7-0 NEC)

When: 7 p.m., Friday; 1 p.m., Saturday

The story: The Bulls take a road trip to the Northeast to face Long Island and Big East foe Seton Hall.

In their last game, Seton Hall lost to Syracuse 3-1. It was the Pirates’ fifth straight loss, which dropped their overall record to 12-16. They now sit at 12th place in the Big East standings.

Long Island has won nine of its last 10 matches and is atop the Northeast Conference with a 7-0 record. This is the first-ever meeting between the Bulls and Blackbirds.

The Bulls are looking to get a win in their final game in Big East play. Like USF, Seton Hall has also struggled this season, and it has just one more conference win than the Bulls. Seton Hall is 12th in the conference in opponent hitting percentage (.230). In order to get their second conference win of the season, the Bulls will be looking to take advantage of the Pirates’ weak defense.

Keep an eye on: Long Island’s Lizelle Jackson. Jackson leads the team in kills (467) and digs (435) and is tied for fourth in service aces with 26 on the team. For the Bulls to win in Long Island, they will have to shut down the senior outside hitter, who has been named the Northeast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week twice this season. Against Rhode Island, Jackson posted 23 kills and 20 digs in Long Island’s 3-1 win Friday. She also recorded her 18th double-double against Temple on Saturday.
