TAKE 5: with Bulls quarterback Pat Julmiste

Oracle: If you weren’t playing football, what would you do?

PJ: Probably be like a mentor or something for the young kids, working at the YMCA. I like dealing with kids.

O: Who is your idol?

PJ: My dad. He taught me a lot of stuff in life; that’s what made me the man I am today. Taught me a lot of stuff like don’t ever take anything for granted.

O: What do you do to get psyched up for games?

PJ: I like listening to a lot of music, like Tupac. ‘Cause Tupac speaks to a lot of real-life issues. I try to relate them to mine, so I try to get focused.

O: What’s your favorite Tupac song?

PJ: My favorite? I have too much. I just can’t pick one. Uh, it’s got too much cursing; I don’t want to say it. “Get Money.”

O: In ten years, Pat Julmiste will be-.

PJ: The owner of a company. Probably a real-estate company.
