Spotlight on student organizations
Attention all presidents of student organizations: The Oracle’s Features section will begin reviewing student organizations beginning next week.
Presidents should e-mail Features Editor Sherry Mims at oraclefeatures@yahoo.com and include the name of the organization, type of organization, who can join, a short description of the organization, the number of members and the dates of two upcoming events.
Because of the possible volume of entries, it might not be feasible to review all organizations. Presidents are advised to continue to nominate their organization again by following the same guidelines but only if the date of the first activity has passed and was not attended by an Oracle writer.
Once an organization is reviewed, it will not be reviewed again this semester.
Organizations will be selected based on a first-come, first- serve basis, but if there is more than one organization having an event, the Features Editor will select an organization by random to review.
