Four more AD applicants bring total to 27
Four more applications for the vacant USF athletic director position were received Thursday. There have been 27 applicants thus far in the search, which Michelle Carlyon, senior media relations coordinator for USF, said will continue until the search committee has found a candidate that best fits the job.
Applying Thursday were: Richard Jennings, president of Jennwell Corporation in Brandon; Thomas Campion, executive officer for special programs for the U. S. Special Operations Command Special Operations Acquisition and Logistic Center in Tarpon Springs; W. Curtis Williams, chairman of the department of health, physical education and recreation at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff; and Raymond Bellany, director of football operations at Fort Valley State University in Georgia.
Still yet to apply are Orange Bowl CEO Keith Tribble and University of Connecticut associate AD Tom McElroy, two rumored favorites for the position.
