Genshaft inducted to honor society as honorary member
USF President Judy Genshaft was inducted into the Mortar Board National Senior Honor Society Tuesday night.
Genshaft was the first honorary member inducted into the society, which normally recognizes students with great university achievements, said the society’s president Cindy Bethel.
“I believe it is a privilege for me to be a member and the first honorary member,” Genshaft said.
Two other important people — Margaret Fisher and Grace Allen, who is the wife of USF’s first president John Allen — were also initiated as the Alumni Achievement Honorees to the Mortar Board Society Tuesday.
