Troy Jones, a firefighter for the Tampa Fire Department, hoses down part of the grass Thursday night during the bonfire at the Homecoming Carnival. The carnival, located on Fowler Field, began Thursday and lasts until midnight tonight. The Homecoming Parade begins today at 6 p.m. The route will include Alumni, Maple and Holly drives. The Homecoming football game against the University of Houston will be Saturday at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. This year’s Homecoming king and queen will be announced during halftime at Saturday’s game.
