My name is Haley Wirth and I am The Oracle’s managing editor, chief copy editor and gatekeeper of Oxford commas. I also study political science at USF (obligatory “Go Bulls!”) so I like to stick my nose in the opinion section and help the writers out from time to time as well. I’ve been with the newspaper since August 2019, and I have grown to reach new heights here I never thought possible. I am determined to stay with the paper until graduation to build up the team while continuing to annoy our lovely Editor in Chief Leda Alvim. When I am not chastising writers for incorrect AP Style, you can either catch me hunkered down in my room pulling all-nighters for classes or out spending my hard-earned editing income on thrift store yoga pants and vegan pizza.
