SG to hold open forum Tuesday
Following the success of last spring’s Student Government open forum, SG has decided to hold another Tuesday afternoon.
Representatives from SG will host the event in the MLK Plaza from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. as a part of the “Visi-Bull” campaign. Students will be provided with free pizza and drinks while discussing various issues and problems they may have with campus life.
“It gives students a chance to talk about their concerns not just with SG, but about campus as a whole,” Sen. Maureen Murphy said.
Murphy is the Organizational Outreach Chair of senate and is spearheading the forum. She estimated that roughly 50 members of SG from all three branches will attend the event.
Along with free pizza and soda, students can play a USF trivia game to win prizes such as T-shirts and other Bulls apparel. WBUL will broadcast from the forum.
