Library hours reduced
The USF Tampa campus Library is the latest victim of budget cuts and small summer enrollment. Officials have responded to what they say is a substantial drop in student usage between 10 p.m. and midnight by cutting those hours and saving the library money.
The new hours are: Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m.-10 p.m.
In addition, the Special Collection Department will be closed each weekend.
