USF’s 2025 football schedule will kick off under the national spotlight, with several key game times and TV slots now set — including matchups against three projected top 25 foes.

While the schedule was released earlier this spring, Thursday’s update finalized times for several key games that will test South Florida early and often.

The Bulls are scheduled to play four weeknight showcase games in the 2025 season, with three of them taking place at Raymond James Stadium.

USF is set to face one of its toughest non-conference schedules ever. The Athletic predicts the Bulls’ ranked opponents as No. 9 Miami, No. 12 Florida and No. 22 Boise State.

This will be the Bulls’ third season with head coach Alex Golesh, after back-to-back seasons with an overall record of 7-6 in the American Athletic Conference.

The Bulls will open their 27th season under the lights at Raymond James Stadium on Aug. 28 against Boise State. The game has a 5:30 p.m. kickoff and will be nationally televised on ESPN.

This will be the first ever meeting between South Florida and the Broncos, who are coming off a Mountain West title and a berth in the first 12-team College Football Playoff.

After Boise, the Bulls will head to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for a 4:15 p.m. clash with Florida on Sept. 6, streamed on SEC Network.

A week later, USF will make its first trip to Hard Rock Stadium in over a decade to face the Miami Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 13. The game will air on The CW, which is expanding its live sports coverage.

South Florida rounds out its non-conference slate at home against South Carolina State on Sept. 20 at noon. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

After a projected grueling September, the Bulls will settle into conference play.

USF will host Charlotte in its conference opener at home on Oct. 3. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN 2.

The Bulls hit the road on Oct. 10 for their first conference test against North Texas. The game is slated for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN2, continuing USF’s run of nationally televised weeknight games.

After a week 10 bye, South Florida will return to Raymond James to face UTSA on Nov. 6. The kickoff is set for either 7:30 or 8 p.m., and will be aired on ESPN or ESPN2.

The matchup could carry conference implications as USF and UTSA are ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, in the AAC power rankings, according to Sports Illustrated.

Kickoff times and TV details for the final stretch of games will be announced during the season as part of the NCAA’s rolling 12-day selection process. This refers to the schedule in which networks select games for broadcast, typically 12 days in advance.
