USF baseball lands highest-ranking recruiting class in AAC

The USF baseball program has achieved its highest recruiting class ranking since the 2015 season.
The Bulls landed at the No. 25 spot, according to Perfect Game. They claimed the highest ranked recruiting class in the American Athletic Conference, placing 23 spots ahead of rival, ECU.
The 2015 recruiting class was ranked number three in the country at the time, producing MLB pitcher Shane McClanahan, now an All-Star player for the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Bulls look to improve upon their 2024 season, where their record was 26-29, including going 11-16 in the AAC.

USF baseball has not had a winning conference record since their 2018 season, when their AAC record was 14-9-1.
USF hired new head coach, Mitch Hannahs, earlier this year to replace Billy Mohl, who was fired in May. Mohl had led the Bulls for the past three seasons.

“I wanna win for these folks,” Hannahs stated at his introductory press conference. “I mean I really wanna win for these people.”
With Hannahs at the helm, USF baseball will look to utilize their 25th ranked recruiting class.
USF baseball will begin play for its upcoming 2025 season which starts Feb. 14, against Iowa.
