Bulls win fourth in a row
USF (4-1-1) continued its hot streak this weekend with its fourth straight win, a 1-0 victory over Drexel, to cap off its play in the Embassy Suites Kickoff Classic tournament in Fort Myers.
On Thursday, USF beat No. 9 Ohio State (4-1-0), handing the Buckeyes their first loss of the season.
The Buckeyes had only given up one goal all season before the Bulls’ Shawn Chin and Bernardo Anor scored goals in a 2-1 win.
Senior Jeff Attinella recorded his 21st career shutout versus the Dragons, while Anor provided the lone goal of the game. Anor and Chin each lead the Bulls with three goals on the year.
USF outshot Drexel 7-4. The Bulls start conference play on the road against Connecticut on Friday at 7 p.m.
