Speech of freedom

Zeina Salam, an attorney for the Tampa-area American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), speaks to students about their rights Wednesday evening inside Cooper Hall. The event, hosted by USF’s Amnesty International chapter, featured mostly free speech-related discussions, including the notorious religious preachers that often visit campus. Salam said the ACLU supports the preachers’ right to speak freely. “The neat thing about the ACLU is that it doesn’t really care about your message,” Salam said. “We only care about your right to have the message.”ORACLE PHOTO/SEAN REED
