Dungy rumored to transfer to USF

USF is expected to add another wide receiver to the mix this summer with the incoming transfer of Oregon’s Eric Dungy, according to ESPN.

Son of former Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ coach Tony Dungy, Eric would have one more season of eligibility to play as a redshirt senior if he graduates as anticipated
this spring.

The 6-foot-1 Dungy graduated from Plant High School where he played as a defensive back, but wound up on the offensive side of the ball under former Oregon coach Chip Kelly.

Dungy, who reportedly visited USF on Wednesday, has seven catches for 75 yards and one touchdown in three seasons with the Ducks.
