UP receives bomb threat to Beta Hall

University Police (UP) received an anonymous bomb threat to Beta Hall at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

According to UP spokeswoman Lt. Charlotte Domingo, UP officers responded to the threat by setting up a perimeter around the residence hall. Beta Hall has been closed for the summer semester and no residents were living in the hall at the time of the threat.

Domingo said a search was conducted of both the interior and exterior of the residence hall and reported finding no explosive devices. At the time of print, no suspect was identified, but Domingo said the incident is still under investigation. No MoBull alert was sent to students.—Staff report
