Cut it out

Homecoming is a time to show school spirit. However, if the same old USF T-shirt seems too dull, change it up by cutting and trimming to make a whole new shirt. All you need is a pair of scissors, an old shirt and some creativity.  — Candace Kaw

The Triangle Look
1. Make marks before you start on the shirt. (Hint: Use eyeliner, it’s easier to get off than permanent marker)
2. Cut off the collar of the shirt.
3. Cut around the sleeves.
4. Make as many double triangles on the sides as wished. (Hint: If part of the triangle tears, cut all of them in the center and tie knots for a different look.)

The Mod Look
1. Make marks before you start on the shirt.
2. Cut a ‘V’ shape around the front neck.
3. Cut one sleeve off.
4. Trim the other sleeve and cut the center.
5. Cut diagonally off the bottom. (Hint: Add a splash of color to the outfit with a cami.)

The Torn Look
1. Make marks before you start on the shirt.
2. Cut a triangle around the neck on the left side.
3. Cut a circle on the lower
right side.
4. Cut another triangle on the left side, cut in half and tie.
5. Cut one more triangle in the right sleeve, cut the hem and then tie a knot.
