Women’s golf heads to NCAA tournament

After placing third at the Conference USA Tournament last week, the USF women’s golf team earned a spot in the NCAA Central Regional.

Held May 5-7 in Lubbock, Texas, the regional is one of three in the country. The top eight teams (of 21) will be invited to the NCAA Championships, which will be held in Sunriver, Ore. May 17-20. The top two individuals from each team also advance.

The Bulls haven’t reached the NCAA Championships since 2002, and have reached the NCAA Regionals seven times in 11 years under coach Susan Holt.
