Tennis player awarded
After defeating No. 21 Lars Poerschke in straight sets during the Bulls’ near upset of Baylor on Saturday, USF men’s tennis player Uli Kiendl was named Conference USA Player of the Week.
Baylor came in undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the country.
Poerschke is the highest-ranked opponent Kiendl has defeated this season.
USF’s No. 1 player, the German native has won three consecutive matches without dropping a set. Kiendl is 7-8 on the season.
