USF looks to get back at UAB on national TV
The Bulls will get a chance for revenge on a national stage.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 6, USF’s showdown against UAB has been pushed forward to Wednesday, Nov. 3.
The contest was moved up a few days so it could fit into ESPN2’s Wednesday night football slot.
The Bulls have made a habit of moving games around, including this season’s home-opener against Pitt, so they may be aired nationally.
The switch from a 4:30 p.m. start time to the new 7:00 p.m. slot will be familiar for the Bulls, who usually play all their home games at night.
This particular Conference USA contest, however, will be played in Birmingham, Ala.
The green & gold will need all the help they can get against the Blazers, who ruined the Bulls’ bowl hopes last year with an upset victory at Raymond James.
This game brings the total number of nationally televised Bulls games to four for the 2004 season, which is a new best for the program.
