Bulls on the small screen

ESPN will nationally broadcast the Bulls three times in their final season in Conference USA.

The season opener on Sept. 6, Labor Day, against future Big East rival Pittsburgh will be ESPN’s lead-in at 4:30 p.m. to the Florida State-Miami contest.

Additionally, ESPN will televise the season and C-USA finale against Memphis on Nov. 27. It remains a strong possibility that the game could be moved up to Friday, Nov. 26, the day after Thanksgiving.

With the addition of these two games to the schedule, USF will now have three games televised nationally by ESPN, with the Oct. 22 game at Louisville already televised by ESPN2.

The Pittsburgh game represents a rematch of what was arguably the biggest win in USF’s short history, a 35-26 upset of the Panthers at Heinz Field in 2001.
