Former Ozarks AD applies
Jack Jones, former athletic director at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark., is the latest applicant for the vacant USF athletic director position.
Jones spent 18 years as AD at Ozarks before serving as women’s basketball coach this year. He resigned from the university in March to pursue other career opportunities.
Two people speculated to be favorites for the position, Orange Bowl CEO Keith Tribble and University of Connecticut Associate AD Tom McElroy, have not applied for the position.
