USF to play Elon

After putting together an impressive winning streak on the friendly confines of their home field, the USF softball team will end a nine-game home stand today.

The Bulls, riding an eight-game winning streak and boasting 18 consecutive wins at the USF Softball Complex, host Elon at in a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m.

The last USF loss was in a Conference USA matchup against Louisville, Feb. 13.

The Elon Phoenix (19-7-1) are no strangers to ending streaks. Earlier this season the Phoenix snapped Stetson’s 12-game win streak, which was also part of a home-winning streak (16 games).

After the Bulls take on Elon, they will hit the road again for the first time in nine games when they face Charlotte in a C-USA game Saturday.
