For the record

Every week, Entertainment Editor Nick Margiasso will put one of our fine USF staffers on the musical hotseat for a Q and A. It may be informative, it could be disturbing but it definitely will be interesting.

Oracle: It’s our round … at the bar and the jukebox; what’ll you have?

Dr. Miller: I’m drinking a nice dark beer and I definitely want some Duke Ellington playing.

Oracle: What is your favorite album of all time?

Dr. Miller: I’m going to go back in time for this one. When I was in high school, I just about wore out the needle on Chicago II (Editors note: that was back in 1970, when dinosaurs roamed our flat planet). Ah, it brings back good memories even now.

Oracle: Who wins in a fight: Ringo or Mickey “Last Train to Clarksville” Dolenz?

Dr. Miller: Ringo, no contest.

Oracle: If you could see any concert regardless of timeline constraints or if the artist(s) is currently amongst the living, who would it be?

Dr. Miller: The Beatles reunion concert that never happened.

Oracle: What would your big hit single be called, and what style of music would it be?

Dr. Miller: My single would be “Read, Read, Read,” and it would be a jazzy, Steely Dan thing.
