The clock is ticking for USF
Time is running out for USF’s women’s basketball team. There are five spots remaining in the Conference USA tournament, and the bulls have two games left.
The Bulls (7-18, C-USA 2-10) will need to win their remaining conference games against Houston and TCU and cross their fingers for a chance to make it as the No. 12 or No. 11 seed.
The Bulls also have to hope the Cougars lose their remaining game against UAB. Currently ranked No. 12 in the conference, ECU needs to lose to both Tulane and Southern Miss.
The Horned Frogs, currently No. 6 in the standings have already clinched a bid to the conference tournament with a 13-13 record, 6-6 in C-USA.
After a 5-17 start, which included a winless January and a couple players leaving the team, the Bulls have rebounded to win two of their past three games.
