Former Bull signs with Colts

Two former members of the Tampa football community are together again after the Colts and head coach Tony Dungy signed former South Florida player Anthony Williams to a free agent contract Monday.

Williams, a 5-foot, 9-inch, 211 pound linebacker played in all 11 games last year. During his career he recorded 283 tackles with five sacks in 44 games.

Men’s golf team two behind

In the first round of the Conference USA Men’s Golf Championships, USF shot 293 to finish two shots behind co-leaders Southern Mississippi and TCU.

Tele Wightman and Ricky Carrillo shot a 2-under par 70 and 72, respectively.

Wightman is currently tied for fifth place overall with Bret Guetz of TCU.

Charlotte is just one shot ahead of the Bulls at 292, with two rounds remaining.
