Bulls end spring with Alumni Game

The USF men’s soccer team wraps up its spring practice season today with the annual Alumni Game. The game, pitting the current USF team against former Bulls, kicks off at 6 p.m. at the USF Soccer Stadium.

After last year’s 6-0 scoreline, Bulls coach John Hackworth said he sought to make this year’s contest more competitive. He has included last year’s leading scorer Jason Cudjoe, a first team All-Conference USA selection, as well as defender Joe Valencia and midfielder Matt Cavenaugh from last year’s team.

Also on the Alumni squad are goalkeeper Skip Miller, defensive standouts Brian Alvero and Ryan Anatol and forward Mike Mekelburg, who scored a school-record 25 goals in 1996.
