Update: USF announces no classes for Thursday
Throughout the day, different reports concerning whether there will be classes for the rest of the week have come through the pipeline. However, USF officially annouced that classes for Thursday are cancelled due to Tropical Storm Hermine.
The entire system — Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee — will be closed. However, according to an email sent to students, USF Health Morsani Center for Advanced Health Care will remain open.
"All physicians and residents assigned to hospital duty are considered essential personnel and should report as scheduled," the email said.
As of now, classes are expected to resume on Firday.
