Things to do on campus this week

If classes and studying arent enough to keep you busy this week, never fear. USF has a wide range of activities available this week for the student who requires more stimulation.

Monday

Bulls for Babies
Bulls for Babies is a non-profit organization designed to get USF students involved in raising awareness and finances for premature babies and their families. Monday is the first meeting of the year.

Japanese Welcome Back Social
The USF Japanese Club begins a new year with a social kickoff. Stop by and enjoy games, food and fun. If you have an interest in Japanese culture, come and spend time with like-minded people.

Piloxing
Strengthen and tone while learning how to kick some butt in this group exercise class that combines pilates with boxing.

Relaxation and Stress Reduction Workshop
Learn relaxation and stress reduction techniques to help you cope with the demands of college life.

Getting Started with Education Abroad
Find out about USFs education abroad programs, including information about the application process, student exchange programs and financial assistance.

Pre-Vet Society
Interested in a career in veterinary medicine? Join the Pre-Vet Society for its first meeting of the 2012-13 year and learn about how to join and what the society has to offer. Snacks will be provided.

Wednesday

Try New Things Club at Bull Market
Gain a new perspective by experiencing what its like to be visually impaired with impairment stimulation glasses.

Tickets to Dine in the Dark will also be sold, and a representative from Tampa Bay Emergency Vets will be providing information about adopting dogs and cats. Also enjoy some free candy.

8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bull Market outside MSC

Microbiology Club
If youre passionate about microbiology, join the USF microbiology club for games, prizes and free pizza. The first 20 people to arrive will receive a free Microbiology Club T-shirt. This semesters events and speakers will also be discussed.

Movies on the Lawn: The Hunger Games
Bring a picnic blanket to watch The Hunger Games while enjoying free food and entertainment.

Thursday

Water Environment Association Career Roundtable
A round table and happy hour hosted by the West Coast Chapter of the Florida Water Environment Association. Hear environmental professionals speak about their careers and answer questions regarding the job market. A networking session will follow. RSVP by e-mailing tbrophy@mail.usf.edu.
