Baseball game canceled

If the Bulls were looking to continue their winning streak Tuesday, they’ll have to wait until today.

Tuesday night’s scheduled baseball game between USF and Florida International was postponed because of rain and will be made up today as part of a doubleheader, starting at 1 p.m.

The Bulls will send left-handed pitcher Teddy Kaufman to the mound in the opener and turn to left-handed freshman Matt Reed in the second game.

Reed has a 2.55 ERA in four appearances this year. Kaufman didn’t make it out of the second inning in his outing against Jacksonville on April 7, when the Bulls lost 12-10.

USF (22-11, 10-2) is tied with West Virginia atop the Big East standings.
