South Florida goes pink
South Florida’s softball and women’s basketball teams wore pink during their games Saturday to help raise breast cancer awareness. The softball team wore pink jerseys and the basketball team wore pink warm-ups.
Women’s basketball coach Jose Fernandez wore a pink dress shirt, and all of the
coaches pinned pink ribbons to their clothes. The first 400 fans at each event received free “Bulls for the Cure” T-shirts and entered a drawing to win a basketball signed by the team.
All donations made this weekend went to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer center and research
institution.
