Picture of the Day: High-topped USF pride

USF Director of Catering Services Nonie Slaughter presented President Judy Genshaft with her own pair of green-and-gold Converse Sneakers on Friday. Slaughter, a seven-year Bulls Club member, had her shoes custom-made last fall. After Genshaft saw them at a football game, Slaughter said the president wanted to have her own pair. Slaughter plans to retire her shoes — which are signed by Jim Leavitt, Matt Grothe, George Selvie and Ben Moffitt — and donate them to charity in a few years.
