For the record

Every week, Entertainment Editor Nick Margiasso will put one of our fine USF staffers on the musical hot seat for a Q & A. It may be informative, it could be disturbing but it definitely will be interesting.

Oracle: It’s our round … at the bar and at the jukebox; what’ll you have?

Dr. Eichner: At the bar I’d have a wheat beer and The Rolling Stones.

Oracle: What album had a big influence on your youth? Why?

Dr. Eichner: I’m going to sound like all I listen to are The Rolling Stones! I guess The Rolling Stones’ Let It Bleed. Why? Because it summed up rock ‘n’ roll.

Oracle: Who wins in a fight: Whitney “Crack Down” Houston or Tom Jones?

Dr. Eichner: I have no idea. I’m not even going to touch that one.

Oracle: What is your hit single be called, and what kind of music would it be?

Dr. Eichner: I think it would sound something like The Donnas. They’re my current favorite band.

Oracle: What is a good soundtrack for studying women? (Editor’s note: Minds out of the gutter, please.)

Dr. Eichner: Cesaria Evora, Maria Callas, Edith Piaf and Celia Cruz because they are or were strong women with strong voices.
