Students will be able to see the candidates for next year’s student body president debate for the second time tonight in the Marshall Student Center (MSC). Following the debate, students will have a chance to meet the candidates at a one-on-one at a reception sponsored by Student Government (SG).

Current student body president Brian Goff will moderate the debate, asking candidates student-generated questions, as well as questions generated by SG for a 45-minute period. Candidates Taylor Lockwood, who is Goff’s chief of staff, and William Warmke, an SG senator from the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences, won’t be the only ones debating though. Goff will also ask questions for a 30-minute period to vice presidential candidates Ben Agosto and Scott Sandoval. Students will also have a 15-minute opportunity to ask their own questions to the candidates.

The debate will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Oval Theater on the second floor of the MSC.

Following the debate, a reception will begin at 8 p.m. in Ballroom C of the MSC. Candidates for the SG senate will also be present at the reception. The reception will include free food from Chick-fil-A and Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, sponsored by SG.
